We funded the acquisition of a Midlands-based cash and carry business, using a combination of a £1m CID facility alongside a £250k advance through our Cashflow Advance solution. The two year loan with a six month repayment holiday, alongside the CID facility, enabled our client to purchase 100% of the business shares.

We supported a commercial washroom refurbishment company with a £700,000 Construction Finance facility. Our package supports the client’s cashflow, ensuring the business can continue to take on new and larger contracts to drive future growth.

We funded a leading packaging solution manufacturer with a £650,000 Factoring facility after the client’s existing lender stopped their facility.

We funded a specialist electrical and mechanical engineering business with a £500,000 Confidential Construction Finance facility to support working capital and growth aspirations. Our client chose to work with us because of our specialist knowledge and experience within the sector, and our ability to fund various types of contracts for a variety of end customers.

We supported a business providing manned security services to London’s finest restaurant with a £50,000 Forward Finance funding line. This provided the client with a cost effective solution to help them comfortably manage cashflow whilst continuing to grow the business.
Product: Confidential Invoice Discounting Funding line: £8 million Sector: Recruitment
We supported an established recruitment business through a restructure with an £8m CID facility. The business was hard hit by the pandemic and our supported enabled the management team to take the business forward, as well as secure the employment of circa 2,000 workers. We delivered a swift turnaround, beating our competition by a significant margin to win the deal!

Research: SME Confidence Tracker Q1 2024
The findings of our latest SME Confidence Tracker show an optimistic but challenged SME community. Despite increasing optimism and some signs that the economy is improving, sustained growth is hanging in the balance. Amid a testing credit environment and the corporate insolvency rate hitting a 30 year high in 2023, SME supply chains remain under pressure.
Research: Trading Places Report
We spoke to 500 UK-headquartered businesses that import and/or export goods and services overseas. Even with difficult trading conditions globally, SMEs remain cautiously optimistic, focusing on opportunities ahead. Half of those who export and a similar proportion of importers (45%) believe sales volumes will increase over the next six months.
Our South West team were delighted to hold their second Construction Breakfast this year. The team were joined by specialists and advisory experts within the sector to explore the current and future state of the industry. They looked at how your construction clients may be best served given the squeeze on margins and inflationary pressures they are facing.
It was great to partner with The Finance Hub and FinCred to speak at their recent event helping to educate construction SMEs about unexpected challenges businesses like theirs may face, and explore proactive solutions and steps they can take. It was a fantastic opportunity to network with some local business owners and talk about how our solutions can help.
